Ann Arbor, MI
University of Michigan Mott CT Incremental
Working within an active clinical hospital environment, can be one of the most challenging projects for any Construction Manager. In addition to common renovation noises, odors and air particles, the delivery and installation of highly technical equipment all needs to be provided in one of the most sensitive areas of this hospital building. Working closely with hospital Adminstration, Facilities, Equipment providers and Kasco’s highly specialized team of subcontractors; Kasco delivered exceptional planning, safety and ICRA/ ILSM measures.
This new child-friendly state of the art CT (computed tomography) scan facility required complex trenching and heavy duty structural support for bariatric lifting equipment. Scenic lighting, decorative inlaid flooring and colorful mural work carrying from the equipment to the adjacent walls provides a fun under the sea setting for their young, nervous patients. Once again, the Kasco team delivered on time, in budget and exceeded University of Michigan’s expectations.
