St. Patrick's Church

of St Vincent Pallotti Parish Renovations

Kasco was selected to restore the 150-year-old sanctuary. To protect the historic structure and architecture, Kasco constructed extensive “falsework” to support the existing structure while technicians and artisans removed and restored the historic artwork, light fixtures, and monuments.

Kasco’s work included replicating decorative painting on the ceiling, conservation of portraits, injection plaster, conservation lights, sconces, and apse lantern. We documented and then replicated central sunburst medallions at the longitudinal spring of vaults. We repaired and reinstated disrupted paints on apse field, and conserved portraits of Saints on canvas onto ceiling. Additionally, we replicated gold-leaf borders at portraits, triangular window pockets, and ceiling corbels. This project also included extensive rework of existing electrical and lighting systems.
