Ascension St. John Hospital & Medical Center

Ascension Health’s St John Hospital & Medical Center is in the process of a major addition and interior renovation including 9,700 square feet of new construction, 55,600 square feet of renovations and 7,200 square feet of cosmetic and finish upgrades.

Work includes a 3-story addition and major modifications to the hospitals infrastructure, mechanical and electrical systems including multiple shut downs, disconnections, reconnections to the hospitals Concentrated Care Building (1982), West Addition Building (1993). Exterior work includes large staging area for crane hoisting of steel and air handling units in additional to logistical traffic control. Once completed, the new facility will be home to 4 expanded and 19 refreshed operating rooms. Project duration was 36 months and delivered on schedule and within budget in September 2021.

Kasco was selected to assist in this complex work which includes numerous phases and logistical planning ensuring critical functions to continue while our team provides the build out. Planning, safety and ICRA/ ILSM are all top priorities requiring constant and ongoing meetings.
