University of Michigan President’s Residence Renovation
Originally built in 1840, this landmark residence is featured on both the National Historic and Michigan Historic Places list. The President’s Residence is the crown jewel of the campus of the University of Michigan and is a focal point for open houses and special events. Kasco is very familiar with this structure, having delivered two prior interior renovations.
This high-profile project included a 550sf expansion, architectural historical preservation, new elevator, interior and exterior accessibility features, fire suppression, and mechanical, electrical, and plumbing updates in addition to major exterior renovations and landscaping.
