U of M Dance Building

Originally contracted as a 21-month duration construction project, in November of 2019 the job was put on hold because of the COVID-19 Pandemic. Work resumed in January of 2021 and the facility opened as a LEED Silver Certified building in September of 2021. This new ground-up masonry construction project consisted of major site clearing and excavation.

The building features two major areas with generous support spaces. The dance studio consists of state-of-the-art specialty dance flooring and acoustical panel systems within a tastefully finished and naturally lit space. Next, the theater area features a state-of-the-art sound and lighting system with well finished auditorium seating.
