Livonia, MI
Synergy Health Mendelson Kornblum Orthopedics Ambulatory Surgery Center
Constructed on the busy intersection of 5 Mile and Levan Roads in Livonia, the new ground up 2-story glass, stone, and metal panel building is an attractive and functional development. The project featured a collaboration between Hobbs + Black Architects and Kasco. The design combines the comforting look of dry stack field stone with contemporary aluminum and glass, steel, and metal trim and accents. The consequence of our close collaboration was a project that was completed on time and under budget with a unique and attractive façade.
The site footprint is approximately three acres and encompasses onsite parking, a covered drop-off, and beautiful landscaping. The building contains an Ambulatory Surgery Center, Urgent Care Facility, Mobile MRI, and tenant lease space. To make the building as attractive on the interior as the exterior, the stone details are sustained with a casual waiting area that includes a working gas fireplace with stone surround.
