Corewell Health Proton Therapy Center

Corewell Health’s Proton Therapy Center defines the future of cancer treatment. With tolerance less like a building and more like a machine, the facility houses revolutionary new treatment equipment. A cyclotron, installed in the 10,000sf basement concrete vault, produces protons from hydrogen gas.

Kasco was selected to lead the Proton Therapy Team to provide precise logistical planning, timing scheduling, and accurate budgeting. The team had to measure its success in millimeters while excavating thousands of cubic yards for the basement vault. Kasco utilized the latest in BIM (Building Information Modeling) software to manage and ensure the strict tolerance imposed by the equipment. The outcome speaks for itself.
